Red Bull BC One
On November 27, Red Bull BC One will touch down on Japanese soil for the biggest one-on-one B-Boy event of the year. And the team wants to take a talented, outgoing and adventurous photographer with them to capture the magic of this unique event.
In its seventh year, the world’s most prestigious one-on-one battle will be in Tokyo, where 16 of the best break dancers from across the globe will compete across a number of heats to be crowned ‘The One’. A 3,000-strong crowd will flock to the infamous Yoyogi stadium to witness a battle like no other. This is without a doubt Red Bull Reporter’s most exciting assignment to date, and is definitely not one to be missed!
If this is an opportunity that you cannot let pass by then make sure you submit your best photography by no later than 12pm on Friday November 5 and tag it with ‘Red Bull BC One’.

Red Bull Thre3style
This October, Kissy Sell Out and A-Trak are bringing the largest DJ competition in the world to ULU in London with Red Bull Thre3style – the DJ battle that takes the art of spinning to a new level.
The rules of Red Bull Thre3style are simple – participants have to play a selection of at least three genres of music in 15 minutes, combining technical DJing and party rocking prowess. Any genre of music is allowed, as long as the DJ can make it work.
Kissy Sell Out will head the search for the next party DJ hoping to make the grand final in Paris, judging at each event and also demonstrating his mixing skills with a throw-down set each night.
Also, Red Bull Reporter are for a talented photographer to head down to the London heat tomorrow evening at the University of London Union. Frome Cobble Wobble
Frome Cobble Wobble 2010 – Aspiring Photographer Wanted for 17.09.2010, Frome
This September, Red Bull is supporting what can arguably be described as the UK’s take on the Tour de France – Frome’s Cobble Wobble. Picture this – hundreds of crazy cyclists time trialling up 179 yards of steep cobbles in the sleepy town of Archangel, each aiming to make the best time. Obviously, Red Bull takes this sport very seriously and are therefore on the hunt for the King of the Cobbles 2010.
The fastest 20 riders from the whole Cobble Wobble will be timed to establish the Charge Bikes King of the Cobbles 2010. Once the cobbled chaos has calmed down, the winner will be crowned at the exciting awards ceremony taking place after the event.
If you think that this all sounds too bizarre to be true, and feel like you’ve got to see it for yourself then hesitate no longer. Red Bull is looking for an aspiring photographer to come along and capture all of the mayhem, as and when it happens. Up for the challenge? Simply submit your best piece of work and tag it with ‘Frome Cobble Wobble 2010’.

Here’s another exciting Red Bull Assignment: photographer and writer wanted for Notting Hill Carnival (29th – 30th August 2010).
This year, Red Bull are sending aspiring reporters to London’s Notting Hill Carnival to get a real taste of the action – whether that be dancing in the street with the crowds, mingling with carnival-goers, or interviewing special guests. What’s more, Red Bull Music Academy will be hosting the hottest after party in town, featuring special guests, including Major Lazer and Sound Clash king, David Rodigan. Not only will these amazing artists propel you through Carnival, but they also have a few sneaky surprises up their sleeve for the night.
If you’ve got the carnival vibe, and reckon that you’re up to the challenge then simply submit your best piece of work and tag it with ‘Notting Hill Carnival’.

Writer and Photographer wanted: Underage Festival, London
Sunday 1st August 2010 will see ten thousand 14-18 year-olds flock to London’s Victoria Park for this year’s Underage Festival.
The Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage is returning to the festival for another year, and they are extremely excited to announce that they’re on the hunt for a creative writer and a talented photographer to report back on all of the action, as and when it happens. If you live for writing and fancy spending the day hanging out with artists and fans, or have a passion for photography and will do anything to get that perfect snap, then this could be just the gig that you’ve been waiting for.
Writer & Photographer wanted for Red Bull Illume Image Quest Exhibition, Dublin
Red Bull Illume is a worldwide competition for the best of the best in action and adventure sports photography. The date of unveiling of the winners is coming closer and closer – September 2nd is marked red in the finalists’ diaries.
If you think you are an outstanding photographer and you should go to the exhibition in Dublin, then enter your submission. Also, if you are a writer and love firing questions to people and getting to know all their secrets, you should upload some of your work on www.redbullreporter.com. Writers and photographers, here are two great and exciting Red Bull Reporter assignments:
1. A writer is wanted to head to the British F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone
For the latest Red Bull Reporter assignment, the search is on for an aspiring writer and Formula 1 fanatic to cover the British Formula 1 Grand Prix, which stops in Silverstone from 9th – 11th July.
The chosen reporter will get their mid-season review published in a special edition of the Red Bull Racing newsletter published and distributed at Silverstone, and their report from the British Grand Prix will be showcased on the Red Bull Reporter website following the event.
To apply you need to write a mid-season review after the Grand Prix of Valencia on 27th June and submit this article on the Red Bull Reporter website.
2.) A writer and photographer are wanted for T in the Park Festival in Scotland
The festival season is kicking off and the search is on for an aspiring writer and photographer to head to T in the Park from 9th to 11th July to go behind the scenes at Scotland’s biggest music festival.
A diverse line up including Muse, Eminem, The Black Eyed Peas, Jay-Z and the Prodigy have been announced and will rock the festival crowd in Scotland.
